In times of rapid change and cultural instability, it’s easy for our energy to become scattered — pulled upward into overthinking, projected outward into conflict, or drained by constant reactivity to the latest outrage.

When our energy is scattered, we react.
When it is integrated, we respond.

The Taoist tradition offers a simple but profound framework known as the Three Treasures:

  • Shen (head) — Clarity of vision and purpose, signal frequency, Awareness, intention.
  • Qi (heart) — Energy circulation, relational connection, integrative function.
  • Jing (abdomen) — Essential life force, vitality, and creative power.

When these three aspects of being are awakened and working together:

  • We feel more unified and grounded.
  • We remain steady under stress instead of collapsing or sabotaging ourselves.
  • We respond creatively and appropriately, offering our gifts where they are most effective.

Many thoughtful people today sense that fighting harder will not solve our problems.  Neither will retreating into our private bubbles.  What’s needed is deeper internal integration, so we can stay balanced and even joyful while "Riding the Tiger"/ engaging with the intensity of Life!

In this one-hour workshop, you will:

  • Learn a simple daily practice to awaken and strengthen each of the Three Treasures.
  • Directly experience how these distinct energies feel in your own body.
  • Practice harmonizing and circulating them to create a felt sense of integration.
  • Discover how the Three Treasures offer a practical template for thriving in times of change.

Integrated life force is the foundation of wise power.

What Clients have Said

I am a retired relationship counselor and sex therapist, so I was surprised at how much I learned from Susanna’s workshop.  I am also a long-time meditator.  The most powerful thing for me about the workshop was that it gave me a direct experience of the connection between my spirituality and my female body and some tools to continue cultivating that connection.  The workshop was one of the most profound experiences of my life.”

Susanna's workshop was a wonderful experience. Far more than just intellectual information, Susanna created a deep and heartfelt experience. By the time the workshop was over, I felt more awake and comfortable in my own skin than I imagined possible. I also found a new liking and respect for myself and other women that I had not had before.                                                                                                             —S.P., Iowa

Susanna McCan is the founder of Riding the Tiger for WomenTM and a lifelong student of development of Consciousness and multi-dimensional embodiment. A Harvard graduate in cultural anthropology and Jungian psychology, she spent over twenty years as a professional meditation teacher and practitioner in the Vedic tradition.

Her background includes more than a decade of intensive Qi Gong training—focused on cultivating essential vitality and lifelong health—as well as a decades-long career as a consultant in Vedic sacred architecture (Vastu), a system that maps archetypal patterns of creation onto the built environment.  Susanna discerned how these patterns also correspond to an "architecture" of human incarnation.  The body as a Temple is more than a metaphor to Susanna.

Drawing from both Eastern energy traditions and Western psychological insight, Susanna guides participants toward integrated, grounded power—so they can live, relate, and contribute with greater coherence and integrity.
